SHOKOの東京での初個展となります。
木版画や立体・インスタレーションなど約20点を展示。12月の寒い夜をポップでちょっとシュールな展覧会を楽しんでもらいたい。

作品の根底にあるもの…
多彩な色や心地よい形、偶然や瞬間に宿る現象。
本当に美しいと思うもの、面白いと思ったことを見つめて描くことは、単純なようでいて難しい…。
自由でありたいと思いながらも過度なこだわりや思い込みに捕らわれてしまう、日々生きる中でいかに視点を変えて日常を興味深いものにするか、空想と現実の間に真実がある。
そうした世界も感じながら観ていただきたいと思います。

Underlying the works...
A variety of colors, pleasant shapes, coincidences, and phenomena that dwell in the moment.
It seems simple but difficult to look at and paint what is truly beautiful or interesting....
How to change one's point of view and make the everyday interesting in the midst of living day by day, where one wants to be free but gets caught up in excessive obsession and assumption, where the truth lies between fantasy and reality.
I hope you will watch the film while feeling such a world.
